"As a recent college graduate, I can already say that Theta extends well beyond the gates of campus. I joined Theta during the spring semester of my junior year, a time many others may consider too late in one’s college career to join a sorority. However, in that year and half before graduation, I learned lifelong lessons about sisterhood, loyalty, and leadership. Theta has motivated me to think more, do more, and be more. The collective accomplishments of my Theta sisters has inspired me to become fearless as I embrace the challenges of the "real world” outside of Georgetown. Each and every day my actions are informed by my experiences and values shared in Theta Iota, and I will forever thank my lucky twin stars that I am a Theta!"
"My favorite memory as a theta was participating in KATwalk. I remember waiting outside of the Reiss auditorium, giggling with my theta sisters over the somewhat awkward situation. Although the outfit I was wearing was not quite something I would have chosen, I didn't feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. In that moment, I realized that I could be myself around my sisters. I am so lucky to be part of an organization filled with such welcoming, funny, and energetic young women."
"After joining Georgetown Univerisy's Theta chapter last semester, I have been welcomed by an incredible group of girls that I can gratefully call my sisters. I can only imagine how amazing these next two years will be."

"I am so glad I joined Kappa Alpha Theta. All the sisters have been nothing but nice and supportive. I have so many memories with my Big from girls nights to exploring DC. I am so proud of our chapter for raising a lot of awareness and money for CASA. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for Theta at Georgetown!"
"Theta is a way for me to meet girls with a wide array of academic and extracurricular interests. I love learning from my sisters, and spending time with girls I may have never met otherwise. Above all, Theta gives me an opportunity to better myself and my community with an amazing group of girls."
"My favorite theta memory is big-little reveal because you meet so many wonderful girls and there's nothing in the world like waiting for (or waiting to reveal yourself) to one of your new best friends. Although we call it a surprise, it feels like the final welcome home. It's one of the most joyful moments anyone could ever have. I'm so grateful to have my big as one of my best friends, and I'm so grateful for all of my theta sisters.
I really love theta because we are a family."
"I was drawn to Theta's values of faith, hope, and love, as these mirror my own morals. I instantly felt connected with all of the young women and I know this is because everyone is genuinely kind and wishes the best for every person. Growing up with a sister of my own, there is a sense of familiarity along with a familial vibe amongst the group. I am confident that I have chosen a loyal group of sisters that will have my back for life--as I will have theirs. The semester I joined I can honestly say was my happiest semester and I can't wait for a lifetime of joy with these remarkable women."
"Becoming a member of Kappa Alpha Theta has been one of the most significant events during my college career. I can honestly say it changed my whole experience for the better. When I transferred into Georgetown my sophomore year, I was hoping to find a community that would make school feel like a home. Theta brought me that in spades by uniting me with some of my closest friends as well as some of the most amazing women I have ever met. Ever since I was initiated as a charter member of Theta Iota, Theta has enriched all corners of my life. From my academics, to my social life, to my professional goals, Theta has helped me reach higher and go forward as a leading woman."
